Jason's quest for the Golden Fleece contains most of the ingredients you'd expect to find in a classic story: a perilous journey, bravery, jeopardy, revenge, plenty of comedy and a dose of the supernatural.
But this production brings into particular focus another element of the story: Jason's love affair with a girl he meets at the furthest end of the world, the sorceress Medea.
This is the ancient Greek equivalent of a passionate holiday romance - and, when Jason brings Medea home, the consequences are predictable and very messy!
