Miracle is offering an opportunity for writers to have a script commissioned, developed and produced by the company as part of its Miracle Grow initiative.

If you are interested, you are invited to submit a proposal, which should include:

• a one-page treatment, describing your idea: the story, its genre, premise and themes, together with a breakdown of characters, including age & gender.

• a one-page production outline, including the number of performers you think will be required, any special production requirements (music, staging, choreography, digital media, costume etc.), the play’s intended audience and length.

Miracle’s management and creative team will draw up a shortlist of their preferred submissions and those writers will be invited to discuss their proposal with the company.

The writer of the selected play will be offered mentoring/script-editing support and will be encouraged to participate in the production process, including casting, design briefings and rehearsals.  There will be a fee of £2,000 (to include a license for performances during the initial tour).

The production will tour to approximately 10 venues across the Southwest.
