Isles of Scilly Adventure

Miracle is off to the Isles of Scilly this week, a trip that we've made every year for the past 18 years. We're always given a warm welcome by the Islanders, and this, along with the two lovely venues where we perform, is why we keep going back!  Romeo and Juliet is at Tresco Abbey Gardens on Thursday, and St Mary's Chaplaincy Gardens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy Shakespeare with a twist this summer!

Miracle at Port Eliot Festival

Five unknown writers get the chance to have their scripts performed by Miracle actors Angus Brown, Kyla Goodey and Kate Lamerton Wilde at this weekend's Port Eliot Festival. We'll be in the Profwriting.com tent on Friday 23 at 6.30pm and on Sunday 25 at 2.30pm, where the scripts will be performed and put to the final audience vote. The five selected plays are: Final Fling by Simon Caro; 50/50 by Alexandra Day-Smith; Back To Back by Rosie Finnegan, The West and the Mints by Jane Spurr and Two Women with Prams by Yasmin Wilde.

Aspiring writers wer invited to submit a play for two people, up to ten minutes long, on the theme The West. Around 40 script entries were judged by a panel that included Miracle Theatre Director Bill Scott and Susannah Marriott from Profwriting.com, an organisation that supports upcoming writers.

Cabilla Manor

Miracle returns with 'Romeo & Juliet' to the grounds of Cabilla Manor, Mount, near Bodmin on Wednesday evening at 7pm. This lovely venue, tucked away in the heart of Cornwall on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor, is one of our favourite haunts. Tickets are available by calling 01208 821224.

Miracle magic at Maumbury Rings

Miracle plays 'Romeo & Juliet' at the ancient and atmospheric Maumbury Rings in Dorset on Friday and Saturday, as part of the Dorchester Festival. Steeped in magic and mystery, the Rings are thought to be Neolithic. We're continuing a tradition of performance that dates back over 3,000 years! Check out the great reviews for the 'Romeo & Juliet' on the Current Show page.

Love on the beach at Newquay

One of our biggest audiences yet gathered at Newquay's Lusty Glaze Beach on Thursday night to watch 'Romeo & Juliet'. Over 300 people enjoyed a fine evening and a gorgeous spectacle.

Miracle is staying put in Cornwall for the weekend, with an indoor performance at St Austell's Keay Theatre on Friday evening. We're at the lovely Carn Marth Amphitheatre near Redruth on Saturday (where we took a lot of our pictures) and Callington Methodist Church Field on Sunday afternoon at a special early time of 4pm.

Who needs the football when you can have this much fun in a field?
