BE PART OF THE ACTION!
We're now in production of a mirco budget feature film of Tin, using an imaginative combination of digital technology and hand-made models.
The film will feature the original cast of the theatre production, which includes opera icon Ben Luxon. They will be joined by other actors, including Jenny Agutter (The Railway Children, Call the Midwife, Outside Bet) and Dudley Sutton (Lovejoy, Weekend Retreat) who will play Abraham Bennett, one of the devious bankers.
The film is being produced in two stages. This first stage, already funded by Cornish Mining World Heritage Sites, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Heritage Lottery Fund will capture all the action and performances in the studio and on location. The second stage of bringing the live action together with the hand-made sets will take place over the next few months with the film set for completion in early 2013.
Miracle is still looking for additional support and sponsors for this second stage – to fund creation of the model world and the post-production process. You can help make this happen and be part of the action by becoming a Tin Adventurer. This support will be the final piece in the puzzle for the Tin project and will help Miracle bring the film to a screen near you by spring 2013! Find out more at indiegogo.com/Tin.
