Rosie Hughes

Performer

Rosie Hughes studied film and drama at Reading University before training at Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre, Ecole Phillipe Gaulier, and Antonio Fava’s International School of Comic Acting in Italy. She returned to her home of Cornwall to work with Miracle Theatre and has performed in many of their productions over the years. Favourite roles include Viola in Twelfth Night, Lee Miller in The Angel and the Fiend and Ivy Wallace in the much loved staging of The Case of the Frightened Lady. As an actor, director and theatre maker she has also enjoyed working with Cornish theatre companies Trifle Gathering, Scary Little Girls Productions, The Cornish Theatre Collective and Wild Works. After a time away, Rosie is thrilled to be retuning to Miracle to take on the challenge of playing King Lear and is delighted that for once she does not have any quick costume changes.
