Steve Jacobs
Steve has been has been tunnelling, scratching and scraping about his imagination for characters for thirty odd years with various companies up down, and indeed under the land. In fact he has already performed at Geevor and Dolcoth tin mines with Kneehigh and Wildworks. Underground experiences for the moving pictures include playing a revolting miner in the series “Poldark”. After school, Steve travelled to London and joined many theatrical troupes. Companies vary from the Royal Shakespeare Company, running away with No Fit State Circus and touring the Jungles and Favelas of Brazil with Dudden Dance Theatre company. Recent adventures include assistant direction with Wildworks/National Theatre of Wales “Passion” in Port Talbot. Steve is very happy to be back with Miracle after enjoying his escapades as Sherlock Holmes last summer. He is also looking forward to collaborating again with Tim Yealland and the ETO after a very memorable week last year playing King Lear in Channing’s Wood Prison.
