
Tim studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London, and the Hochschule fur Musik in Munich. As a singer and actor he performed many roles for English Touring Opera, Opera Factory, English National Opera and Chichester Festival. For many years he has been a director working particularly in the community. He directed Fantastic Mr Fox for ETO in 2011. He has created projects for all the leading opera companies and directs ETO’s outreach programme. Large community projects with ETO have included One Breath in Sheffield, A House on the Moon in Wolverhampton , and the award winning One Day Two Dawns with Hall for Cornwall in 2009. He works regularly in Portugal. As a writer he has created the words for many children’s opera including In the Belly of the Horse, Voithia and The Feathered Ogre. For a few months only he worked as a (bad) bodyguard.

Since it began life in Cornwall in 1979, Miracle Theatre Company has developed a reputation for exciting new writing and popular adaptations of classical works. The shows are witty, highly physical and entertaining and tour to open air venues, theatres and arts centres across the UK.
Miracle's work is collaborative, bringing together artists, actors, musicians, writers and makers from around Cornwall to create theatre with a unique comic style, a joyful use of language and an immediate visual appeal.
