Tartuffe on tour
After weeks of rehearsals at our base in Redruth, the opening performance of Tartuffe was held on 8 June in the spectacular clifftop setting of The Minack Theatre near Lands End. Audiences were treated to a healthy dose of Miracle magic, with perfromances by Miracle regulars, Ben Dyson (Tartuffe), Jason Squibb (Orgon) and Dan Richards (Damis/Loyal) and newcomers to the Miracle fold, Holly Kavanagh(Marianne), Kate Lamerton Wilde (Elmire/Valere) and Lollie Brewer (Dorine). This sumer we'll be visiting some great new venues, including Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan, The Island in St Ives, Bude Castle and Caerleon Roman Amphitheatre. Since it began life in Cornwall in 1979, Miracle Theatre Company has developed a reputation for exciting new writing and popular adaptations of classical works. The shows are witty, highly physical and entertaining and tour to open air venues, theatres and arts centres across the UK.
